I just purchased a new computer with XP. I have a kodak digital camera DX3600. I used this camera on a previous computer and had no problems. I tried to download the cd onto this new computer and it is telling me that it is not an approved logo by microsoft and may cause harm to this system. Can you tell me what I need to do? It says that i can continue to download knowing the precautions. Will this harm my computer? I really need to use this camera... Thanks, Lori

When you plug the usb connection in , does it show up in My Computer as a
removable drive? Jym

I loaded software for my Kodak DX3500 on my new XP machine, it gave me the
same message, but I continued the install with no problems. Works fine!

XP will give you this "error" on numerous occasions. get use to it. I f it
doesn't recognize a particular software ( and gee, there's only 10 billion
out there ) it will tell you it's not approved. Generally no big deal. Use
your gut instinct.
