We have a Kodak C360 digital camera that is not being recognised as a
removable drive (assigned a drive letter) in Windows XP Pro SP2. It
gets picked up under Explorer as a Kodak C360 Digital Camera, which is
fine, except for the fact that we have some software that cannot upload
pictures from it without it being assigned a drive letter. I have
tried older versions of the Easyshare software, with no change to how
the is displayed in Explorer. Currently the pc has doesn't have the
Easyshare software on at all, but the camera still gets picked up as
before. We have another Win XP Pro SP2 PC that it connects to and gets
assigned a drive letter as normal.
Any advise to resolve this issue would be appreciated.

Adding a USB media reader (often under $10, or free after rebate)
is a foolproof way to quickly transfer files in either direction.

And you don't need to plug in your camera or use its battery. ;-)
