A recent error (0x1e kmode_exception_not_handled
ntoskrnl.exe) has consistantly occured when transfering
data between drives. I formatted and installed a fresh
copy of Windows 2000 and have SP4. Just before the BSOD
appears, all power to my USB devices are lost and the
screen freezes. The hard drive LED remains lit until the
blue screen occurs and the the drive powers down. When
rebooting, several driver timeouts will casue stop errors,
and occasionally a kernel_stack_inpage_error 0x00000077
(0x00000001, 0xbfb13d24, 0x00000000, 0xbfb13c48) and force
a reboot. This has happened in 4 seperate fresh installs
of win 2000 in the same machine with no 3rd party drivers
installed. But in safe mode, drive transfers dont cause
any problems. All devices are compatable with Wondows
2000 and no hardware changes have been made.

I am thankful for any help you guys can give me.

Same thing here with win32k.sys, apparently occuring
randomly. Just before the BSOD, my available RAM quitely
goes down to zero. I have installed SP4, I have checked
the memory with several test programs, it is all good. It
seems SP4 has NOT solved the problem, as was arrogantly
announced by Microsoft! I refuse to have pay for a
Microsoft technician to help fix a problem they should be
accountable for....
