KM DSE 5400 II - warranty length?

What is the standard warranty offered by KM? Do they offer extended warranties?
I am not asking about after-market warranties.

If it matters, I am in Australia.

FYI, my KM ScanDual IV failed at one year, four months. KM wanted $140 USD
to repair. They did state a 6 month warranty on the repairs.

The warranty for Konica Minolta Scan Dual IV is one year in the USA.
I am sure the 5400 has the same warranty.

No extended warranty offered.

Yes, it matters, The warranty papers state if purchased in new condition in
the UNITED STATES OR ANY ISLAND IN THE CARIBBEAN SEA.

Caps are theirs not mine.

Australia would have a different warranty statement.
