Peter,

Add the object and mask to the Trusted Zone. This is used by both the
PDM and the KAV scan functions.

1) Settings -> Protection -> Trusted Zone -> Add

Specify the file/folder that you wish to exclude from scanning. Help
on the Trusted Zone.

2) Help Contents -> Multi-tasked Protection Management -> Creating a
Trusted Zone

Max (Kaspersky Labs) has asked for input on this issue.

Quote: "We are planning to implement "white list" of popular
applications, that show "suspicious" behaviour and proactive defense
detects them.

Please tell us, which applications you have added ro Trusted Zone,
including application name, default path to exe file and verdict."

See this KL forum thread:

Look at some of the responses for what people have added to their
trusted zones. And search through the KL fora for others looking for
help with exclusions. Lucian Bara has helped a lot of people set up
their trusted zones. If you would like to post a question, you must
register (it's gratis).
