How can I get all of the folders in My Documents to be the green and
translucent type from Vista? Some of them are by default and the others are
all th old type. I'm a little OCD about symmetry and I'd like them to all
look alike, but with the green ones not the "manila" ones. Anybody know a
free and easy solution? Thanks.

Right click the folder, then got to Properties > Customize > Change Icon. In
the "Look for icons in this file:" box, copy and paste this in ...

C:\Windows\system32\imageres.dll

There is no "My Documents" any more (except for a junction for legacy
applications). Are you talking about the folders under C:\users\yourname ?
Each one of those already has custom icon for Pictures, Music, etc.

Those folder are a different colour because they are a different type of
folder, with different properties. They are called User Shell Folders, but
I suppose there is no harm in making the others look the same if you don't
know what the difference is in the first place. The yellow ones are still
different to XP's, as they are standing on the ends.
