Do a virus scan. Make sure your AV software is up to date with the
latest definitions. That file is suspicious and more than likely is
part of a virus, worm, or spyware. Also download SpyBot (free) to
search for spyware.

OK !
i had the same file in my windows\system32 folder.....i was very
surprised...a 3-day-old windows !
so i looked what programms were installed.
afer testing all of them...i found out: IT is: DR.DIVX !
even if i delete the file....dr.divx writes it again and again-every
time i start dr.divx....and when it is already written...it writes
everytime a "00" in it (look with Hexviewer)- so what is it ?
i´ll ask in the Divx-forum.

OK !
I found out: it´s needed everytime you start Dr.Divx.

I deleted it: a new one is created automatically

I replaced it with a 0 bit file (Text-Document) and renamed to
KGyGaAvL.sys: Dr.Divx will not start - "Registration Problem" !

So i let Dr.Divx create it, an set it "Write Protected" (german:
Schreibgeschützt).
Dr.Divx can read it, but doesn´t write anymore.

Any other ideas ?
