keystroke to swap between desktops?

My colleagues and me rarely mouse around. So the few times we need to mouse
tend to stick out.

If I have a local and a remote desktop in use, how do I switch between them
with the keyboard? The link from local to remote is in the task list, but to
go from remote to local, I must grab the rodent.

Any tips?
