Keying out a color

Can you use Powerpoint much like you would a chroma key, where you delete a
color and can place an image over another?

SCALA has this option, but i'm not sure about Powerpoint.

Is your question in a hardware sense or software sense?

If you have the right hardware...you can select a certain hue and have it dissapear (e..g. superman flying or the
weather presenters).

PowerPoint does have a "transparency" feature that will "knock out" one color of a picture. It's on the picture toolbar
(right click a picture to find it)
