Hello,

I'm currently running XP and OS/X systems for work. One of the features I
miss most in Windows is the keychain on OS/X. Is there such a feature in
Vista?

thanks for your response. I don't currently run Vista, so I can't check.
This feature would be one key requirement when considering an upgrade to
Vista in the near future. Does Cardspace work the same way as the keychain?

Check out Cardspace in Control Panel.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Cardspace only work with websites that
support it? Or can it also store credentials for non-supporting
sites/servers as well?

it does remember all log in information for ftp servers, websites, network
shares, wireless networks, groupware applications (such as lotus notes) etc
etc, even for encrypted disk images. it is a really big advantage in my
enviroment compared to having credentials stored in a dozen different places
and applications. Is that what cardspace does?

No, it does not go that far, but as you not it supports websites. I have OS
X x86 running on my Mac and I notice it does remember my username and
password in Keychain when I connect the Windows machine.

Nope, Cardspace does not support these, only websites.

that sucks, thanks anyway.
