KEYBOARDING A CHECKBOX IN FORM DATA ENTRY

What key strokes do I need to check off a checkbox, instead of using the
mouse? You know how annoying it is to work through a form entering data from
the keyborad, and then when tabbing to a checkbox, having to switch to the
mouse to click (check off) the checkbox? What's the solution?
 
Thanks Rick and Fred. Such a simple solution. Never discovered it in any
texts I read on the subject.
