I AM UPGRADING MY OS SYSTEM FROM MICRO. MILLINIMUM TO
MICRO. XP - HOME EDITION. THE TRANSFER WENT RELATIVELY
WELL, HOWEVER, I REVIEWED THE "UPGRADE REPORT" WHICH WAS
CREATED BEFORE I UPGRADED. UNDER SOFTWARE INCOMPAT. THEY
LISTED AN INCOMPATABLITY REGARDING 'MULTI-FUNCTION
KEYBOARD'. I AM PRESENTLY USING A MULTI-FUNCTION USB
KEYBOARD WHICH CAME WITH THE MILLINIMUM SYSTEM. I CANNOT
LOCATE THE AREA WITHIN MICROSOFT'S WEB SITE TO EXECUTE THE
UPGRADE WHICH WILL MAKE MY KEYBOARD COMPLETELY FUNCTIONAL.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE ASSIST ME????

THANKS,
CLAUDE

Firstly, tiurn your caps lock key off.

Hi Claude,

Check for a WinXP compatible keyboard driver from either the keyboard maker
or the system manufacturer, not Microsoft. The drivers included with Windows
only provide basic functionality in most cases. Full driver sets from the
manufacturer are what you need to make all the add-on buttons work.

Also, please turn off the capslock button when posting a request for
assistance. It is hard on the eyes, and using it may cause some to simply
pass your question by unread.

Here is the site for Microsoft Keyboards:
www.microsoft.com/hardware/keyboard//default.asp . Is the Keyboard actually
a Microsoft keyboard. All Computer manufacturers I am familiar with use
other manufacturers keyboards. In that case, go first to the Computer
manufacturer in the search for an XP upgrade and next to the manufacturer of
the keyboard.
