My spacebar is acting like the enter key.
Every time I hit it starts a new line.

In addition, everytime I hit the enter key I get
that annoying you get when hold a key down too long.

Any suggestions?

First, swap keyboards with another computer. This will show you whether the
problem is in the keyboard or elsewhere.

If it is in the keyboard, you may need to clean it. I have seen suggestions to
put the keyboard in the dishwasher, but am hesitant to do so, preferring to
spend money on a new keyboard. But Google can help if you want to clean it.
