I have a new keyboard and now I want to install it. It is a
USB keyboard.

The big questions is "HOW"?

In the hardware installation I can install everything, but
NOT a keyboard!!

Normally for USB keyboards, there is an option in the BIOS to turn on USB
keyboard support.

Just plug it in - that's all!

Don't throw away the old keyboard. You will badly need
it when performing maintenance, e.g. when installing a new
version of Windows.

Well that does NOT work. After restarting a dozen times, I
finally got the message that there was new hardware. But
for some reason windows does NOT recognize a keyboard. The
error I get is "code 28".
