keyboard with wrong key code

Dear all,

I've got something wrong with my keyboard.
When I type a @, it comes out with a ", and vice versa.
What's wrong with it?

You have the keyboard set to either UK (if you have a US keyboard) or US (if
you have a UK keyboard)
see the settings in Control Panel ... Regional and Language Options ...
Languages (tab) ... Details (button)
