keyboard turns off when installing windows to my new PC

I bought new PC its configuration is:
Asus board
160 GB HDD sata
1GB RAM
3G Processor 2M cash
CD rom support

what happens is like that, I put my windows XP cd and start the
installation and when the system reaches the first step which is three
choice
1- press ENTER to install windows
2- press R to repair
3- "something else I dont remember"

these choices cam after just 30 seconds from the installation start,
after the option of press F6 to install third parties ......

then what happen here is that the Keyboard is turned off and refuse to
start again.

please help me I want to setup this computer so soon

If it's a NEW pc, (presumably without an OS) WHY are you pressing "R" for
repair?

no am not pressing R, but am just telling which step I reached when my
keyboard went off, I want to press Enter to start partitioning my HDD
but I don't know what is wrong, is it something I should do in the
BIOS or its something with the Hardware like a defect in something.

Is it a USB or Wireless keyboard? If so try with a conventional PS/2
keyboard....

its a PS/2 keyboard & I tried to use my old working keyboard and
nothing changed.
before the choices are shown for starting the installation process the
keyboard is functioning correctly but after I reach a step where I
need the keyboard to select from the choices its off service.

Sounds like usb keyboard , and the drivers aren`t being run . What
exactly are you trying to do ?

Am trying to install windows to my new pc with its new Hard disk,
thats all what I want to do :)
