Xpander

Hi there,

I've always wondered if there is a way to stop my pc from giving a
system beep when you press 3 keys at once? Certain games, mainly first
person shooters, I have problems with moving certain directions and
running at the same time, such as when I press Shift A and W at the same
time. My system just makes a beep and I cant actually move in the
direction I want to. Any ideas, or is this just something I have to put
up with?

Cheers

Hi Scott,

Did your keyboard install special software which might be causing this issue?
If so, identify the process in Task Manager, and END TASK it.

There's not much you can do about this, I believe it depends on your BIOS,
so the only thing you could really do is swap motherboards until you find
one that behaves the way you want. A USB keyboard may fair differently as
it's controlled differently to PS2, but don't take my word on it. :-)

Thanks for the replies guys :-)

Don't have special software for my keyboard. Had the same problem in my
last computer, so guess I'm just gonna have to put up with it!

Cheers
