Hi,

I got my dell laptop keyboard replaced yesterday. now I have this sound
every keystroke. i have tried everything on the control panel to turn off
this irritating sound. are there any other solutions

What kind of keyboard? Did Dell install it?

Its a Dell D600 laptop. yes, dell replaced it yesterday because my earlier
keyboard stopped working. I got it replaced in China and was unable to get
any help from their help desk on this issue because of the language barrier.

thanks
Wilfred

If you disable the audio, for everything, do you still get
the noise? Perhaps the sound is a mechanical clicker built
into the keyboard?
