I HAVE SET A KEYBOARD SHORTCUT TO START AN APPLICATION @
CTRL + ALT + Z IN THE PROPERTIES BUT IT DOSENT FUNCTION
IN XP ANY SUGGESTIONS

Hotkyes will only work if the shortcut is located on the Desktop or in
the Start Menu.

Someone replied that the shortcut keys won't work if the
program is not on your desktop OR in the Startmenu area /
Programs.

However there is one other little thing: if the program is
a DOS based program then it won't work either - at least that
has been my experience.

This could only be valid for true DOS programs that are started
directly. I am using a hotkey with a batch file which starts some
Windows applications together and this works well.
