Keyboard Shortcuts suddenly stopped working

On Monday, I was using standard keyboard shortcuts to
forward, edit, and scroll thru my Outlook 2002 messages.
On Tuesday, it stopped working properly. When I do
CTRL+HOME to go to the top of the message, I get two pop-
up screens: one asks if I want to install help, and one
is the FIND dialog box. When I highlight material to
delete and press the DELETE button, I get a confirmation
question along the bottom of the screen, near the status
bar, asking if I want to DELETE BLOCK.

The only setting I had changed was to choose to PROVIDE
FEEDBACK WITH SOUND in the TOOLS, OPTIONS area. Could
this possibly have anything to do with it? I have since
unchecked that option, and rebooted several
times.....still have the problem.

I suspect this is a simple fix, but I sure am frustrated
at this point! Thank you for all help.

Are you sure no buttons are stuck on your keyboard? The SHIFT key tends to
be the master of this on some keyboards. Turn the keyboard upside down and
give it a gentle wack on your desk. You probably need to clean your desk
afterwards when dust and other junk fals out of it :-D

I changed keyboards just to be sure and it is still
happening. Now when I am in Word, I can use the Page
Down and Page Up buttons, and the End button works, but
the Home button does not work, whether used with CTRL or
not. This is happening on the new keyboard as well as
the old one. Thank you for trying.

I knew it had to be simple......my husband had me go
slowly thru the menus and we found that under TOOLS-
OPTIONS, the checkbox for HELP FOR WORD PERFECT USERS had
accidentally been checked. Once I unchecked that, all my
commands came back. YIPPEE!

Alright! Good to hear! Thanks for the feedback! :-)
