I want to open some folders and programs with keyboard shortcuts so, as
directed by windows help, I've put direct access icons to them on the desktop
and then I've
gone to "properties" of the , and I added the shortcuts. Not a single one
worked. No error message displayed. It simply ignore them when I press the
shortcut keys (ALT+CTRL+B, forexample).
I'm sure I've done it well. I have consulted to a Microsoft MVP, but didn't
knew how to solve it. Anyone have any good Idea?
Kind regards,
Carl M.V.
P.D: I've read this on the news discussion: "One possible cause of their
losing the hotkey response is using the touted 'Delete IsShortcut' in
registry as a means of removing shortcut arrows.".
But it doesn't apply because my computer is displaying the shortcut arrows
-althought is not displaying the words "Direct Access to"; I suppose that
Windows detected that I was constantly deleting them
