At times when I am typing something in Vista will switch on and every time I
type a vowel it opens some applett. Last night I was typing in a text chat
to my instructor and got Dav typed in then My Computer Opened when I pressed
the letter E. I then pressed the U key and Ease of Access Center opened. I
know I didn't press the Windows Key on accident when this problem occured, I
also toggled the function and toggle keys on my keyboard on and off to make
sure they were all off and that didn't solve the problem. The only way I
could regain control of my keyboard was to reboot my entire system, something
not so easily done in Vista. This is not the first time this has done this
to me and there is no consistancy as to when this switches on, no similiar
key presses to start it, no application running that causes it. Any help
that anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated. Also if this is an
accessability feature, I would like to know how to uninstall/permenantly turn
off those features, I am not handicapped (other than by Vista), and don't
need problems like this.
Thank you,
