Certain of my keys have swapped places [@,", and others.]
I am on XP, Office 2000 on a Pentium 4 computer bought
new 6 months ago. I have tried changes to regional
settings [UK, US and RSA]. I use UK as US interferes with
UK settings in Word or in Dragon. I have uninstalled my
previous keyboard's drivers, and downloaded the latest
ones. I tried every diagnostic test that I could find in
XP or in Nortons. It did not help.I have now replaced my
keyboard with a Microsoft one. Still the same problem. Do
I have to reformat my harddrive, run the risk of losing
stuff, and try installing again? Please help.

Hi Niel,

Had the same problem. Have a look here Control Panel | Regional and Language
Options | Languages tab | Details button. There you will be able to choose
the English (United Kingdom) input language and keyboard. If you have to add
the UK keyboard and decide to remove the USA one you will find the change
will require a reboot to effect the removal.

Hope this helps

Regards
