keyboard region

i have a new laptop and when i registered, it asked me for a keyboard region.
it said that the normal setting was USA, so i clicked that but now half the
keys are different. how do i change it?????????

Start -> Control Panel -> Regional and language options -> Languages tab,
click the Details button, click the Add button, select the keyboard you use.
then delete the US keyboard layout.
