Keyboard problem

For no apparent reason, my computer began printing dashes evey time I type
the letter "p". Happens every time and the dashes continue until I hit the
backspace key. I plugged in a brand new keyboard and the problem persists.

Occasionally, the stampeding dash problem will present itself when I press
the "dash" key.

I would very much appreciate any advice to make this problem go away.

Check if this happens in the Safe Mode as well. If no, check what is
running on your computer while Windows is running in the Normal Mode.
