I recently purchased a Compaq X1010US laptop, and
installed Windows 2000 Pro on it. However, now the 'Alt'
key and 'Ctrl' key are very slow to respond (i.e. I must
hold down either of these keys for at least 0.5 seconds
before the keystroke is captured). Does anyone know what
might be causing this, or how to alleviate the problem?
Note that there is no specific keyboard driver available
for this machine...it uses the default MS keyboard driver.
