Hello DRoads,
Issues with keyboards on laptops are very hardware centric. A hardware
manufacturer usually provides software to manage special shortcuts, and
hotkeys. I would recommend the following:
1. look at the hardware manufacturer's website for any updates to their
keyboard manager software.
2. Look into the configuration of the software, and see if there are any
conflicting key combinations.
3. Try to uninstall the keyboard management software all together.
If the above steps do not work out, I would probably search the support
pages of the hardware manufacturer's website, and possibly engage them
regarding this issue.
