Keyboard Locked

I had someone ask me if there was something thet could do in the following
senario.
When they turn on their computer they get the message "keyboard Locked" and
there is nothing that seems to unlock the keyboard???

I am no expert, but I have never heard of this error message or security
message.

have they tried putting the key in the lock on the fornt of the computer and
unlocking it?

A good suggestion. I don't know if they have even thought of that!!
