Keyboard lock up

I am having a problem with my keyboard. When I type too quickly my wireless keyboard locks, and I am unable to type anything and the num lock, caps lock and scroll lock keys flash on and off, and the only way to fix this it to reboot. It is really annoying as this happens everytime I go on my CPU, can somebody help me please?

Verify that is the "only way to fix it" and remove your Keyboard batteries
next time that happens(then put them back in - no reboot).

If that works, replace the batteries in the wireless keyboard with new ones.
 
I have changed the batteries, and this still happends. I thought that I should also mention that after the keyboard locks and i re boot, the CPU beeps 4 times before it shuts down completly, hope this is enough info to resolve this issu

It's beeping because it lost the keyboard (more than likely.)
It sounds more and more like a defective keyboard than anything else.

Try to uninstall the drivers for the wireless keyboard and mouse and try again,
