Hello

I customized Windows XP to unattend install.
I want the german keyboard layout (DE) and NOT the english layout (EN).

Now, both layouts are installed. Where can i change a value in the WINNT.SIF
to prevent XP installing the english keyboard layout?

Thanks
Carsten

executable called setupmgr.exe. Start this file and load the winnt.sif file
you already have. Check if all answers are still correct.

Thank you for the answer, but it didn't help.
There is nothing to change in the WINNT.SIF
I have the German keyboard layout installed, this works fine. But the
English keyboard layout is installed, too. I don't want that Englisch
layout.
I only use one layout: the German one.

In the lower right edge of the Desktop - left of the clock - is the little
icon.
How can i prevent XP to install the second (English) keyboard layout in the
WINNT.SIF?

I can manually uninstall the English layout by right-klick an delete the
English layout. But we want to install a few of computers unattend and don't
want to deinstall it manually.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Carsten

Rename the .sif to .txt and see if you can find the
problem and edit it out. Rename it back to .sif

Hello

I made it!
Here are the values for the WINNT.SIF:

[RegionalSettings]
LanguageGroup=1
SystemLocale=00000407
UserLocale=00000407
InputLocale=0407:00000407

Thanks for all helpers
