Hello,
I just downloaded Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator and spent some time
creating a keyboard layout suited to my needs. When I select "Build DLL
and Setup Package", it does OK for a while, but then I get the
following error message:
The Keyboard Layout Creator was unable
to build the Windows Installer package.
There doesn't seem to be a relevant log file or any further information
about the problem.
It does produce a DLL file in the appropriate place
(layout/i386/layout.dll, where "layout" is the name of my layout), but
doesn't produce an installer or any other output. The layout validates
fine, with only a few ignorable warnings. Any idea what's going on?
(There are no Google hits for the error message.)
Alternatively, could someone tell me where to put this DLL file and
what to edit in the Registry in order to install the layout properly?
