Hi,

Have a problem with keyboard function whereby apostrophy
doesn't appear on first keystroke, then on second stroke 2
apostrophies are displayed. If I key apostrophy then e I
get ë.
I believe this to be something related to Input Locale
setting or similar but can't seem to resolve it.
Using Win2k with USInternational & EnglishNZ language.

Can somone tell me what to reset please?

(Problem appeared after doing a WinUpdate.)

Cheers

Go into the Control Panel / Keyboard and select the
English US keyboard. Delete all other keyboard selections.

Hi Pegasus,

Thanks. That seems to have done the trick with the
apostrophe, although I am mystified as to why I can't use
EnglishNZ, as in NZ we use numerous different spellings
etc as compared to US. Why is EnglishNZ an available
option if we can't use it?
AFAIK the language has traditionally been set to EngNZ on
my machine.

Cheers

Why is it that you Kiwis must have something special? Why not
use the good old Ozzie keyboard driver? It would be your first step
towards becoming an Australian state! (grinning & ducking for cover
in sunny Melbourne).

More seriously: I don't know. If it was my machine then I would
try a number of different English language driver flavours. Maybe
Bill Gates forgot about you . . .

**Coz we are special!

**I should think so too. Tassies have told me why we
should not marry Canberra, even though they would be
relieved with us replacing them on the bottom of the pile.

**Nah. This novice is happy to have it working and will
leave well alone for now.
Maybe
Bill Gates forgot about you . . . **Undoubtedly.
I hope you are prepared to defer politely to Kiwis after
the World Cup Final - between All Blacks & Tricolors.
(Also grinning & ducking)

Cheers
