Keyboard doesn't work in IE6

No keystrokes work inside IE. Keyboard works fine in all
other applications (Word, Outlook, etc.). Can navigate web
using favorites, back forward, etc. Also, IE will not
close using 'X'...must use task mgr. to close app. Please
help. Thanks, Kevin.
 
I just wanted to add a comment to Kevin's issue. With
three of my systems, I have the same problem(s). I have
scanned for viruses, cleaned up popup software and still
get the keyboard problem. With one of my systems, Toshiba
laptop w/ WIN XP PRO and IE 6 sp1, I can type a url, fill
out parts of a forms, but no further.

Example: mail.yahoo.com -->login --> can't compose an
email?

I've got exact same problem. No key strokes work in

address bar. Closure thru task mgr only. Also keep
receiving notice that ie has problem and option to send
report to ms. Anybody with solution?
