One of the users in our company has a peculular problem. Inexplicably the
keyboard or mouse or both with cease to function and any time without any
warning or known cause. I've started with the simple and have gone to the
extreme. Here's what I have done:
1. Replaced the keyboard and mouse
2. Loaded new drivers for the same
3. Ran Anti-spyware, Registry repair and virus software
4. Replaced the motherboard
5. Re-imaged the hard drive

No one else in the office has this problem. I figured that after I
re-imaged the drive the problem would go away. But that wasn't the case.

I do have a question though. Are there any known problems with Windows
Media Player causing problems like this? I do know that this user does use
windows media player throughout the day, all day.

I only have two options left:
1. Replace the computer completely
2. Replace the user

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

WMP should not have any effect. Option 2 will only likely net you someone
worse. <g>

How are the keyboard and mouse connected AND (so obvious I've been known to
miss it) is it set to allow those devices to become disabled after a certain
amount of time to save power?
