The word "relationship" in a commercial survey item displayed on IE
mysteriously became a "sponsored link" that when clicked on, directed the
student's browser to another URL pop up window. The commercial software
lives on an ASP host. The linked word only appeared within the surveys
displayed on a single school's PC's housed in a student lab. The OS running
is XP Pro.
I could not recreate the glitch outside of the school. Can I logically
assume that the trouble began inside of the school. The school has a
firewall , pop up and spyblocker software
