I have a Notebook with Windows 2000 Prof. It give this
error message
Kernel_stack_inpage_error
0x00000077
(0xC000000E,0xC000000E,0x00000000,0x001B4000)
the 4. parameter varies
I've searched the Internet for a solution but can't find
it for exactly this combination.
The error appears randomly.

This is generally due to a poorly-written device driver or bad hardware.
Have you installed any new hardware or updated any device drivers (perhaps
automatically via Windows update) recently?

The only thing I have updated on the notebook is MS Win
2000 Service Packs. Is it an idea to reinstall windows on
the notebook? Can it be due to bad RAM?

Yeah, it could be due to bad RAM.

Reinstalling Windows is kinda drastic, but if that's what you want to do,
then go ahead. Something less drastic would be to uninstall SP4, but this
only works if you chose to save the backup information when you installed
it.

The other possibility is to ensure that you have the latest drivers
available for each of your hardware components.

You can also check out DriverVerifier available for download from Microsoft
to try to find the offending driver/hardware.
