IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 015f:bff86876

What the heck does this error mean? Anyone have a clue
how to fix this problem? I've deleted cache, cookies and
history. I've used the install/uninstall & ran repair &
also uninstalled & re-downloaded, but after a couple of
days this error comes back to haunt me. It closes the
window I am in & pops up the "Microsoft Internet Explorer
has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience." window & tries to close my
browser. any help would be greatly apprciated!

Check your system for "hijackware".

Dealing with Hijackware

HijackThis (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip) is the
preferred tool to use these days. It will help to both identify and remove
any hijackware/spyware. **Post your files to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/, not here.**

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.

Are you running windows 98??? It sounds like a problem I
had when running 98... my best (no sarcasm) is to switch
to XP...Since I have moved to XP, I have had no more
kernel32.dll problems.
