Hi John, are you out there? Thanks a lot for your help but I need you again!

I asked this question:

mitzimalone said:
We password protected a classified information on a pps. Now we like to keep
viewers from printing it. Is there a possibility to do that? Thanks for all
help!!!!!!!

and got the following answer:

I'm assuming you added a password to modify?

Then do this on the first slide draw a rectangle over the whole slide either
filled with white or black so that the slide cannot be seen. Now give it a
with previous exit > disappear and move it to be the first animation.

Copy and paste it onto all slides making sure it is the first animation.

The slide show will play as normal because the shape will instantly
disappear but will prevent printing or viewing in edit mode.

I'm not John, but I can give you the details on the process he is
suggesting....

Select the box. Got to Slide Show--> Custom Animation. At the top of the
task pane. Find the Add button at the top of the task pane. Click it, then
drag down to Exit and over to Disappear. Now, look down a little ways from
the Add button and find the words "On Click". Next to them is a drop down
arrow. Click it and from the list select "After Previous". Click the
animation itself and drag it to the top of the list.
Now, copy the box. Paste it to your next slide. the animation will be added
to the animations list for that slide. Drag that animation to the top of the
list. Repeat the paste of the box and the drag of the animation for each
slide in the presentation.

Post back if you need more help!
