Keeps printing gibberish!!

Hi I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me
with my problem.

The other day I tried printing a file (a pdf file if you
need to know) but it didn't fully load up in the printing
que so it just printed gibberish and won't stop! It's
been a few days now and I still can't get it to stop
prining out garbage! I've tried rebooting, disconnecting,
looking in task manager and the printer but I can't
figure it out! I can't print out anything else until I
get it damn problem solved! Please help me! Somebody!

I had the same problem with my Deskjet895Ci. :mad:
Here's how I fixed it....
1. let it run out of paper
2. Go to your printers area in the control panel
3. You will see a job with an "out of paper" error. Right mouse clic
and cancel the job (you'll need to confirm).
4. Then, put the paper back in. It will probably print out a coupl
more pages before it stops, but the important thing is that it stops!
5. You should be able to use the printer as usual now.

Granted, I am using XP sp2, so this may be more intuitive than anothe
OS. Worth a shot, though. :
