I built a computer and now trying to install Vista Home Premium. After the
computer reboots it keeps going back to Install Windows. What am I doing
wrong?

Thanks for your help,

Lorie

Ok, took DVD out and let it reboot and now it says :Boot from cd: DISK Boot
failure, Insert system disk & press enter

Can you provide some details regarding your computer, e.g. motherboard, type
of hard drive etc.?

Noooooooooooooooooooooo.. put the DVD back in reboot, and when gets to the
point where it asks to boot from CD/DVD, do NOTHING.. just let it run..

This information is not needed. It has nothing to do with the O/P's problem.

Mike,
I've done that and when it reboots it goes right back to Install Windows.

Lorie,

Go into your BIOS and check the device boot order. CD/DVD drive first, then
hard drive, then floppy if you have one. It sounds as if you only have the
BIOS looking at the CD/DVD drive for booting.
