Keeping past events private?

I am about to start sharing my calendars with others in my office. I would
like to be able to keep my past apointments on my PDA, but is there someway
to make them all private so that others who view my calendar cannot see the
specifics? I have about 3 years worth of appointments and don't really feel
like going through them one by one to make them private, but I can't think of
another way!

View the calendar in By Category view so that you have a table with dates
etc showing. Show the Private field and mark each one private. One easy
way to do this is to show Advanced Toolbars (View | Toolbars |Advanced
Toolbars) then click the field chooser icon and drag the Private field onto
the table (drop in line with the other column headers).

Now click the Group By box, ungroup By Category and group by Private.

Drag the not private meetings into the Private group and they'll be marked
Private.

Then go back to the Day/week month view of the Calendar (or whatever your
normal one is).

I hope this helps!!
