Keeping only one restore point

Somewhere in a book, web site or possibly on this NG I saw a procedure for
keeping only the last restore point. Can someone refresh my memory?

start button, programs, tools, accessories, system tools, disk
cleanup. More options tab. You'll see an option to remove all but the
most recent restore point.

(You can get there faster via RUN cleanmgr.)
 
This may noyt apply but my HP allows me to create restore
points any time by just typing in name i.e. date and time
