Keeping one cell constant in formulas

I have created a very simple formula =F1/F100… I am wondering how to keep the F100 constant a while the F1 becomes F2-F90 when I click and drag. Is there a symbol to enter into the formula to keep one cell constant while the others vary when I click and drag the formula.
I would like to have the average as a variable figure which will change, so I want to use a reference. When I drag the reference the divided by value changes to F101-F189.
Please Help. I feel like this symbol must exist and that I have seen it. It may be an exclamation point or something.

Add $ around the cell reference to hold it constant:

Absolute: $F$100 (row & column locked)
Mixed: $F100 (column locked)
Mixed: F$100 (row locked)
Relative: F100 (nothing locked)

You are looking for an absolute cell reference. Change
the formula to =F1/$F$100 This will keep F100 constant.
An easy way to use absolute reference is, in the formula
put the cursor on F100 and press F4.
