When I install my new Office Small Business 2007, I have read that it will
delete the older versions of Outlook due to conflicts. Will it keep the
email and contacts that are currently in my old Outlook Express? Import them
to the new Outlook?

Outlook and Outlook Express are two entirely differnt applications with
seperate data files
Outlook Express wil not be touched by Outlook
Install Outlook, configure your account, once done, open Express and export
mail to outlook.
Close express, open outlook and then import your express address book (The
wab file, windows address book)
Unless you remove your Express mail accounts or set express not to download
mail it will continue to receive mail if you open it

So, if I understand you correctly, I can export all my email and contacts to
the Outlook 2007. I could then delete my Outlook Express.

Thanks so much!

Import Contacts from Outlook Express using Outlook. Export mail to Outlook
using Outlook Express.

You can't delete Outlook Express. You can certainly disable it, but why
bother? Just don't use it any more.

Oh, ok so it doesn't create a conflict like two Outlooks would? Thanks Brian,
that's good to know.
