keeping format on a text file

I want to input data into access database but I need to keep some formatting
like new sentence and paragraphs. do I do this as a memo or as something else.
please help

There's no formatting such as bold or italic in memo fields.
I think you have to use a RTF-control to get that.
 
No i dont need bold or italic just new sentences and paragraphs thats it.

what is RTF-control? can you explain a little more please
