Keeping Focus on Record in a Subform

I have a button on a subform that opens a second form. After closing the
second form, I end up being back on the first record in the set, even if you
I am in record #2 when the button is clicked.

Is there any way to keep the focus on the record from where you are when you
click the button? I need to set a value, and also I think it will be
confusing to anyone using this.
