Hello,
Win2k Terminal Server, SP3
I had problems with VPN-users that used RDP-Sessions. In KB 120642 I found
some settings that improved the connection, however, I do not know if these
settings are really good, fit together, maybe they are to extreme to one or
the other direction. So, I made the following settings:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TCPIP\Parameters (all values in
decimal):
- KeepAliveInterval 1000 milliseconds
- KeepAliveTime 120,000 milliseconds (2 minutes)
- TCPMaxDataRetransmissions 10 (repeat 10 times)
There is another setting that could help but I do not where to set, it is
called "UDP-Aging" (set to 3600 seconds?).
Pls. let me know what you think about the settings that I made.
Thank you
