I am trying to avoid having a record split when it reaches the bottom of the
page. I'd like to keep an entire record on one page, but I don't want huge
amounts of white space on the report pages either. I don't know if this will
help at all, but here is the current structure of my report:

Report Header
Page Header
Group Header #1
Group Header #2
Group Header #1 again
Detail
Page footer
Report footer

I made the report through the wizard using two different tables.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Debbie

Can you be a bit more specific about what you want to keep on the one page?

The details section has a Keep Together property (on the format tab) which
will attempt to keep the entire detail section on one page

Individual groups can use the keep together property to keep the group with
the first detail or to keep the entire group together. This is found by
-- Select View: Sorting and Grouping from the menu
-- Click on the group and
-- Select an option from the Keep Together drop down.

Experiment.
