I enter a machine remotely - user has some programs open.

I want to leave them open when I log off. Right now Remote Desktop closes
all programs when I log off.

I am logged on as the user. Any way to keep programs open?

Thanks,

you should select Disconnect instead of log off.

I'm having a similar problem, but I am disconnecting and not logging off...
BUT, if I don't unlock the PC that I remoted to within an hour, I am
automatically logged off. I'm running control software on this machine, and
it needs to stay running.

Someone had mentioned being able to push control back to the remote computer
so that it was no longer locked, but did not explain how to do that.

But doesn't disconnecting leave the RDP session logged on?

Question is: if the user is logged when the RDP session logs on, then you
disconnect which session is left? Local user or RDP?
