How can I keep people from copying pictures from my website?? Besides using
watermarks.

Thanks!

Seriously, the only way is to not put them on the web.

Take away their computer or Internet connection.

Or, utilize some of the techniques printers use to keep people from
photocopying publications. Oh wait, there aren't any techniques to keep
people from photocopying publications.

Seriously, the only alternative to not posting pictures on the web, is
to
watermark them. Know you don't like this alternative but it's all
you've got.
You can't stop someone from copying your pictures except to render the
pictures useless to them. A transparent copyright watermark does the
trick.

Make copies of your picture files and use Picture Shark to embed
watermarks
in a selected group in a hurry. Conversely, you can use Photoshop to
embed
unobtrusive (vary intensity of almost transparent marks) but still
apparent watermarks.
Picture Shark can be found at the following URL: Check it out.

You could also disable them physically by chopping off their arms and legs,
or even kill them. Of course, the trick is locating them wherever they are
in the world and managing to do this before they copy the pictures.

Oops. If they have downloaded the web page they have already copied the
pictures to their machine. Never mind.

Thank you for those links, Tom!

I was thinking that building a slide show in Photoshop vs a gallery would
prevent the ones that I don't want copied from being copied.
